My love of painting.

I was surprised one morning when I heard that still small voice inside whisper to me to express myself and try painting. I can truly say the thought of doing anything artistic had never occurred to me before. But I decided to give it a try. First I tried watercolors, and then acrylics, and finally oil painting. I fell in love with it and found out I had a fledgling undiscovered gift. For someone who previously had shown no real talent for art, I was a bit shocked and blessed to learn that I would enjoy oil painting so much. I improved very rapidly and now produce quality work doing originals , custom portraits, and various commissions that give much joy to myself and others.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

I looked in the Spirit and I was in an art gallery looking at a masterpiece. I knew it was a picture that had not yet been created yet. I could feel that God longs to partner with artists on the earth to bring forth new masterpieces that will once again bring enlightenment. The picture I looked at was absolutely amazing; as I stared it spoke to me on many levels. I heard the Lord say that old phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words, and these pictures will be worth a thousand sermons." -Shawn Bolz
